I can’t say enough about the Merel Family Law team and, more specifically, Josie Norton. Josie was knowledgeable and professional, and her guidance and expertise through such unfamiliar territory were unmatched. Josie was patient with my abundance of questions and always made me feel like my case was a priority. I was much more confident knowing Josie was advocating for myself and my child. I would highly recommend Josie to anyone in need!

First of I want to thank Marleena and her firm for doing an outstanding job. A few years ago I went through a nasty separation with my children's mother. I contacted Merel Family Law and started working with Marleena. She answered all my questions and guided me through out this long process. She was easy to get a hold of and alway returned my phone calls and emails in a timely manner. There were times where I needed emergency guidance and she called back right away and provided me with information to make the proper choice for that time. They kept an open line of communications with me. They were able to fight for my and my children's and in the end got what i wanted for my children and I. if your looking for a great law firm and have your best interest at hearth they are it. Again thank you for all your help and support though this period of my life.

My experience working with Jaclyn DeSana was beyond 5 stars, her level of professionalism was best in-class but her ability to be a down to earth real person that broke down my situation into facts related to the law allowed me to make good decisions and settle my divorce. There were specific things that were important to me to have in the settlement, they were all achieved through Jackie's guidance, knowledge, and experience of the divorce process in IL. I was able to file an uncontested divorce and achieve a settlement in less than 8 months which I did not think was possible based on friends and families experiences. I would highly recommend Jackie for any divorce case, she really made the process as stress free as possible.

If you need a competent, compassionate, and clever lawyer who always has your back then HIRE Melissa Caballero--Dunn. Like her name, everything Melissa did was in pursuit of finalizing my divorce as expeditiously as possible while also being conscientious of the cost. Without Melissa's commitment, my divorce would have dragged on unnecessarily. She guided me through the legal process and did so with empathy. I could contact Melissa at any time of the day, evening, and during her holidays and she always answered with good cheer and support. I highly recommend Melissa Caballero-Dunn and her team at Jonathan Merel to handle this difficult journey!!

When life gives you lemons! Give them to Paige R to make the best lemonade you’ve ever had!!! Paige was an absolute God send in my divorce/custody case. I would recommend Merel Family Law to anyone. Paige showed not only attention and dedication to my case. But she made me feel like it was about more than the money! She cared not just about me but about what was best for my daughter. After going through a shady lawyer I was nerves retaining anyone. But Paige promised me that we would get through this together. Her knowledge was impeccable and I could have won without her!!!! I was referred to Josephine Norton through my fiance. After seeing what she was able to accomplish for her in one month compared to what her previous lawyer couldn't accomplish in one year, I was left speechless! After speaking to Josephine and hearing how confident she was in taking on my case, it gave me confidence for my case. She was able to get my matter resolved in less than a month and was able to get this father full custody of his son! Words can't describe how much of an amazing lawyer Josephine is. She is a great asset the Merele Law Group. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help and guidance but moreso a lawyer who truly cares and will fight hard for her clients!

I had a wonderful experience with Aurelija Fitzpatrick as my attorney!! I started with their law group about 2/12 years ago and I can’t say I could have asked for a better team to work with. Aurelija was so kind and generous throughout this whole process, she was beyond helpful. She was able to communicate with me and and help me understand and talk through the difficult process we were going through. Firstly, I would highly recommend Cora. She knows the Illinois divorce law and will fight for every inch to get you what you deserve. Not only is she a great attorney, but she is also a great therapist as well, and kept me sane during my nasty divorce. But there's more than just that, I could’ve done a few things differently BUT there’s no way I could’ve done this without an attorney like Cora. Her level of commitment and tact is incredible. I really appreciate everything she did. I’m divorced!! Yay!!
